This forum will be for the online play, long may it prosper. I'm not sure what theme or genre will work better in this media, but if something isn't working (but the format in general is), I figure we can switch to another.
To start with, since you gave me no guidance, I was thinking of starting with a You Wake Up, except that it doesn't have to be You, specifically - if you want to make up a modern-ish character to drop into the setting, we can do that.
Also, if you have determined that you have some preferences, let me know on that, as well.

No, I didn't give you any guidance...but you know all of my buttons. Feel free (as usual) to push 'em. ^_^
As for setting...I dunno about a you wake up. I'd like to do something with Ma'al Lochte properly, and finally drag Dominic out into a place where he can be of use. And, of course, there's always the Malchester setting--you never did give me any closure on Tzigane, and she's carved a fang shaped hole into my beating heart.

Handling Dominic in an online forum is more complicated than I'm willing to try for just yet. Malchester sounds good, although I think I will just skip some intervening space with the Rat King and other and sundry things, for a fresh start.
Well, a fresh start at the point at which Stupidetta is breaking up with Insane Ancient Vampirella.

Oh, poor Yvaine! That little "chat" is going to go very badly. How -lucky- that she'll have Valera's shoulder to cry on... =^.^=

My posts are a bit shorter than yours currently. Hope that's not a problem, but Yvaine is just so much more wordy

Yvaine -is- more wordy, and always has been...should I trim my posts?
...I also wasn't sure what kind of post length would work best for this format--I remember you saying that you might post like once every coupla days, and I didn't know if we were going to do question-response type posting. It'll prolly take a dozen or so more posts before we finally get it down.

Naw, do what feels best/looks best.
I've been speaking out loud, Tzigane-voiced, to figure out what she would say, and it just comes out pretty short. It's been a bit weird without someone there to listen
We could also do longer passages, where one or the other of us handles both sides of the conversation, but for now, I think this will do fine.

Just posted a narrative reply...and I think post length does something to help convey mood, so I'll just stick with what I'm doing. ^_^

There's also no rule against posting more than once per few days
Just that neither of us should expect it to continue.

Can we stay in present tense, please? ^_^ I originally did my posts in past tense to keep them in tune with yours, but you've been switching back and forth, it seems. Since it's easier for me to stay in present, can we stick with that? ^_^

Fixed.
How embarrassing

Bleh. Now I gotta go back and fix my last post to be in past tense. I asked to stay in -present-! <laugh> ^^;;;
EDIT: My post's fixed, too.

Sorry, misread. I will edit everything to be present tense later today.
I will then try to stay in present.

<chuckles> Oh, goodness. I would say, "Oh, just leave it!" if I didn't know I'd appreciate staying in the present tense more. I'll edit all of mine now.
EDIT: Done. All of mine are in the present.
EDIT: Used my shiny new Mod status to edit yours, too, since you haven't yet. Hope you don't mind. If you catch wording that I missed and shoulda been changed to present tense, please change it. ^_^

I'll re-read this thread every so often, and I always long to know what happens. Drat. Shoulda continued with this when we had the chance. Now I doubt either of us has the the time for it, and my blood will continue to trickle from the fang shaped hole in my heart as I pine for Tzigane.
Waaaaaah!
