PostOccamsnailfile: What comes next?

So we discussed briefly about what game to run after 2015-- I've enjoyed this game, but all such things eventually end. We discussed a few possibilities but didn't set anything in stone.

A few scenarios or possible themes, listed here:

Transhuman colonists on a planet with a new resource of some kind. This would be another timeline thing, but with a focus on resource scarcity and political maneuvering.

Werewolves (or other monsters; I'm just with Jon in the 'werewolves are cooler' camp) in a very small, rural American town in the 19th century that happens to be in the path of the railroad. Themes about tradition and its sometimes necessary end as well as outsiderness.

Kronologos IV (Billy wanted to be in this one so perhaps not for Saturday)

That other supers game about the really powerful supers who basically took stuff over since it's hard to say no to people with laser eyes.

That fantasy world about the people living on the big tree, Ole-something. It just seems like it might be interesting. Yes, I did say fantasy.

Dimensional-hopping mercenaries or aid workers trying to prevent things that specifically create dangerous instabilities in dimensional fabric or something. Comet-chasers?

Anything where I can play an ex-communist Ursoid mechanized infantry pilot.

(That last one is a joke. Mostly. Just envision a large robot bear with laser eyes and a bad accent.)

Things I would vote against:

You Wake Ups. These can be okay, but they seem to work better as one-shots.

'Regular' fantasy.

Return of the Son of Vampires the Sequel.

I thought we'd settled on the Nexus like fantasy folk catapulted/drafted/coerced into the interdimensonal mercenary troupe?

'Settled' didn't seem to be the right term, but I'm still interested in the idea.

The big tree: Olgmadan. I loves it, I do, but it's not what I want to run right now. It could maybe make a cameo in the fantasy comet-chasers idea.

Supers as the ruling class: Maybe something around the martyrdom of "that other White Queen?" Or maybe Supers In 'Nam.

Fantasy comet-chasers: This is the one I took away from the last discussion. I've had some ideas about it. It's still gelling, however.

Ursoid pilots?

I just want it to be sexy and powered (and I'm more than willing to pay through the spleen for the advantages if we're using GURPS). I want hot men, scary men and women and things that threaten my sanity and force me to think.

I miss Conner. Sad I want a dirty boy for a commited relationship. (In game, I say, In game. Smile)

Kronologos IV??? What happened to Krono III? What happened? Thomas, I demand that you use Madison and Dr. Black's child "One True Hotness to Rule Them All" as an NPC!

EDIT: Conner? Wow....then you've been missing him for about as long as I've been missing Elizabeth. Uh, not the Betsy above, but ELIZABETH. Smile

Not that we didn't try for it. Jefferson Davis Westinghouse has to see the light of day dammit.

That sounds familiar...at least the Westinghouse part as a character name. Well, if you do play, I hope One True Hotness at least exists as an NPC.
